Dear WCR Members and Friends,

Can you believe that another year has passed?

Thank you for a great year! I have truly enjoyed the opportunity to learn and grow as your 2001 Local Chapter President. All of you have been so helpful and supportive! I couldn’t have asked to be part of a better group!

As we look toward the holidays and the new year with anticipation, let us not forget all of the changes that have taken place in our lives and in our country. Those changes have touched us and have made us who we are today.

One very unexpected change occurred in our membership in November, in that we lost a dear member to cancer. Pat Gloer has been an active participant in WCR, and as recently as October, gave us her inspiration and led the pledge of allegiance to start off our meeting. She will be well remembered for her contributions to our organization, her profession and her community. We will miss her!

Please make this a happy and safe holiday season! Take the time to give of yourself to those around you. Let’s do our part to give those 17 hugs a day about which Maxine Jennings talked.
