BYLAWS CHANGES APPROVED BY MEMBERSHIP
ARTICLE IV - MEMBERSHIP. Section 1. Change nine classes of Members to eight classes of members. Section 1 (d) - Delete the category of Public Service Members.
Section 1 (f) - REALTOR Emeritus: Membership classification requires membership in one or more REALTOR Boards for a cumulative period of 50 years with the majority being in the DeKalb Board of REALTORS
Section 1(g) - Delete the category of Senior Membership.

ARTICLE X - DUES AND ASSESSMENTS: Section 5 Deposits. All money received or held by the Board that will be needed for usual year to year operations of the Board shall be deposited to the credit of the Board in a government insured financial institution or institutions or Government backed securities. The money manager approved by the Board will not hold any monies of the Board but shall only be granted limited power of attorney to instruct the custodian with regard to investments made.

ARTICLE XI - OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS - Section 4. (a) Election of Officers and Directors. At least two months before the annual election, the President shall appoint a Nominating Committee of five most recent Past Presidents who are still active members and willing to serve.

ARTICLE XII - DEFENSE AND INDEMNIFICATION OF OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS. Section 7 Insurance. The Board shall purchase and maintain insurance on behalf of an individual who is or was a director, etc……
